Our Story
Widows Express was born from a deeply personal experience. When Diane DeGrande's Sweetie Pie of 43 years passed, she embarked on the journey of healing; a journey that takes its twists and turns, and can be different for every widow. Her home became a place of reflection; a place for memories to bring some solace; a place to quietly shed a tear without having to explain. But she wanted and needed more from her home. Diane wanted to embellish it with design and renovation that would truly reflect where she was, while honoring the past and helping her on the journey of healing and new beginnings.

Diane partnered with Bryan Peel of Cascara Renovations. Together they created her vision, where design and renovation became a bridge between what was loved and what's yet to come. Her project nurtured her home and her heart.

The transformation was so powerful for Diane in her healing process that she and Bryan recognized a need to offer a unique service, Widows Express; designs and renovations expressly for widows.
